This week’s choice is a song that reminds me of my beloved late father. He loved Johnny Cash and this song in particular. I love it too, not only because it brings my dad back to me, but also because I cannot think of this lovely pair without smiling, such was their enduring love and devotion to each other through some tough ole times. This video is from 1968, the year they were married.

Her voice…. that growl makes my spine tingle.
